Who it is for

Melanidin Plus is the cream indicated in the case of:

Vitiligo
Hypomelanosis
After-effects of Pityriasis Versicolor

Thanks to the active ingredients contained in its formulation, enriched with Piperine, Melanidin Plus promotes melanin production and even skin pigmentation, speeding up the effects of exposure to UV radiation, both natural and artificial radiation used in phototherapy. The combination of Oenothera oil, vitamin E and citrus Bioflavonoids, powerful antioxidants, counteracts the effects of oxidative stress on melanocytes, which are particularly exposed and vulnerable to free radical damage in the case of conditions such as vitiligo. It keeps the skin hydrated and elastic and, at the same time, protects it from ultraviolet rays with UVA/UVB filters SPF 6. Because of its characteristics, Melanidin Plus can also be used on healthy skin to obtain and maintain a natural tan for longer.

How to use it

After thoroughly washing and drying the area to be treated, apply Melanidin Plus with a light massage until completely absorbed. The treatment, to be carried out every day, morning and evening, may be continued for as long as desired so as to maintain the colour obtained.

Avoid contact with hair and eyebrows, eyes and the area around the eyes, abrasions and scars. After applying Melanidin Plus, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent the colouring from appearing on your fingers.

To make application easier on limited areas or on areas requiring a small amount of product, the pack contains a reducer nozzle.

Melanidin® Plus is not a protective sunscreen: for people with a low phototype (fair skin), for children, or in situations where solar irradiation is very intense, it is recommended to combine it with the application of a sunscreen with a higher protection factor such as TANNISOL CREMA SPF 50+ SUN INTOLERANCE.

In cases of vitiligo and hypopigmentation: begin applying Melanidin Plus 2 or 3 days before direct exposure to sunlight or to the UV rays used for phototherapy. Used in combination with phototherapy treatment, Melanidin Plus can clearly accelerate the pigmentation process and therefore reduce the number of UV ray applications needed to obtain a satisfactory result.

On healthy skin: Melanidin Plus should be applied morning and evening for the desired period so as to achieve and maintain a natural tan over time.
