1920
It is 1920 when Dr. Gaetano Dell'Osso becomes a pharmacist of the Kingdom of Italy. And so, in a small town in Basilicata, our story begins.
An entrepreneur ahead of his time and an apothecary, Dr. Gaetano — in an era when the pharmaceutical industry was taking its very first steps — creates a workshop where he begins preparing galenic products for the care and well-being of his fellow citizens.
1968
In 1968 the Pharmaceutical Workshop passes to Rome into the hands of his son, Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Dell'Osso, also a passionate pharmacist and entrepreneur gifted with a clear, eclectic vision of the future. Under his guidance the business develops and L.E.D.I.derma Laboratori Eudermici Italiani is born — among the first companies in Italy to produce and present a line of dermo-cosmetic products to the medical community.
Through his daily relationship with dermatologists, Prof. Dell'Osso identifies their needs and studies the solutions, creating complete and highly successful dermo-cosmetic treatments. With L.E.D.I., devoting himself also to university teaching of the subject, he actively contributes to founding modern Cosmetology Science.

Since 2008

Since 2008, leadership of the companies has been assumed by his daughter, Prof. Dr. Noemi Dell'Osso, who — pursuing the family mission — expands them and then merges them into GD in 2010.

She devotes herself with passion and enthusiasm to projecting the company into the new millennium, introducing new 4.0 technologies while never neglecting one of the aspects that have always characterized GD: the rigorous medical-scientific approach.

She strengthens the organization by bringing in new professional figures and adapting the workforce to the company's growth. She leads the company to ISO Quality Certifications and extends the product portfolio to Medical Devices as well. She opens new foreign markets such as the Caribbean, South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

A forerunner in green policy, she has led the company to be among the first to adopt production parameters and materials that protect the environment.
